The agent runs on the Ryze AI workspace you connect. It answers from the accounts connected there, so the Slack side needs no separate setup for each ad platform.
What you can ask it
The agent in Slack uses the same tools and data it has inside Ryze AI. That covers the accounts connected to the Ryze AI workspace: ads, spend, traffic and revenue.
Platforms that Ryze AI can connect include Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and Shopify. If an account is not connected in the workspace, the agent has nothing to answer from, so connect it in Ryze AI first.
When you keep asking in the same thread, the agent keeps the context. A follow-up such as 'break that down by campaign' works without restating the account or the date range.

Set it up in 5 steps
Slack connects with OAuth. You pick the Slack workspace and click Allow.
Open Integrations
In Ryze AI, open Integrations and find the Slack card under Messaging.
Connect and allow
Click Connect, pick the Slack workspace to install Ryze AI into, and click Allow. The card then shows Connected.
Invite the app
Invite the Ryze AI app to the channels where you want to use it with /invite @Ryze AI. For private channels, a member has to add the app.
Choose notification channels
Click View on the Slack card, open Default notification channels, tick the channels and click Save.
Ask something
Mention @Ryze AI in a channel, or open a direct message with it.
One Slack workspace is tied to one Ryze AI workspace. If the install is revoked or the Slack app is removed, the card shows a Reconnect button.
The Slack install asks for bot permissions that include reading mentions, channel history in channels the app is in, direct messages, posting messages, reading and writing files and adding reactions. The full list is on the Slack install screen before you click Allow.
Notifications and scheduled results
Scheduled tasks and approval requests can post to Slack, but only to channels you pick.
Under Default notification channels you choose where results go. Scheduled tasks post there unless a task has its own Slack channels set. The same channels are pre-filled when you choose who hears about new approvals in the Inbox notification settings.
If no channel is selected, the field reads All channels, but nothing is posted to Slack by default. Pick at least one channel to get results there. Private channels appear in the list only after the app is added.

Limits to know before you roll it out

If you were looking for Slack inside Claude or Claude inside Slack, this is a different thing. Ryze AI puts its own agent into Slack. It does not give Claude or ChatGPT access to your Slack messages.
Slack's own AI and agent options
Slack has its own AI features. They work on your Slack content, while the Ryze AI agent works on your ad and analytics data.

According to Slack's help center, Pro includes conversation summaries, huddle notes and automatic search filters. Business+ adds search answers, recaps, file summaries, translations, workflow automation, canvas generation and Slackbot. Enterprise+ adds enterprise search across connected apps.
Slack's developer documentation also describes an MCP server for AI apps to search channels, send messages and manage canvases, and a Slackbot MCP client that connects remote MCP servers to Slack. Those are Slack's own features and are separate from the Ryze AI app.
