Ahrefs Brand Radar Pricing in 2026: Why You’ll See Two Different Prices
Ahrefs publishes two different entry prices for Brand Radar, and which one you find depends on which page you land on. The Brand Radar product page at ahrefs.com/brand-radar lists $398 per month for "select platforms" and $699 per month for "all platforms" — the second including all engines plus custom prompts and 2,500 checks a month. The main rate card at ahrefs.com/pricing lists the same product as "Brand Radar AI … Get started from $199/mo." Both figures were on Ahrefs' own site in August 2026. This page does not average them, reconcile them or pick a favourite: it cites each to the page it appears on and tells you to confirm the number at checkout before you budget. Brand Radar is also bundled into the main Ahrefs plans — Lite $129, Standard $249, Advanced $449, Enterprise $1,499 — with small AI-prompt allowances, and custom prompt packages sell at $50, $100 and $250 a month. Disclosure: this guide is published by Ryze AI, which competes in AI-visibility work; every Ahrefs number below is quoted from an Ahrefs page and attributed to it.

Every published Ahrefs Brand Radar price (August 2026)
Five rows, five sources. The first two come from the Brand Radar product page, the third from the main pricing page, and the last two from the plan and add-on tables. They are listed separately on purpose — the first three describe the same product at different numbers.
| Plan / tier | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Brand Radar, select platforms (per ahrefs.com/brand-radar) | $398/mo | A subset of the tracked AI platforms, standalone |
| Brand Radar, all platforms (per ahrefs.com/brand-radar) | $699/mo | All engines plus custom prompts; includes 2,500 checks per month |
| Brand Radar AI (per ahrefs.com/pricing) | From $199/mo | The same product line, quoted as a from-price on the main rate card |
| Bundled in the main Ahrefs plans | $129 / $249 / $449 / $1,499 | Lite 5 tracked AI prompts and 5 projects; Standard 10 prompts, 20 projects; Advanced 20 prompts, 50 projects; Enterprise requires an annual commitment |
| Custom prompt packages | $50 / $100 / $250 per mo | Basic +2,500 checks (overage $0.020), Growth +7,000 ($0.015), Scale +25,000 ($0.010) |
The one-line summary: if you need Brand Radar as a standalone product, the product page says $398 or $699 and the pricing page says from $199 — confirm which applies to your account at checkout. If you only need a light AI-visibility signal alongside your SEO work, the bundled prompts inside Lite at $129 or Standard at $249 may be all you buy.

Why does Ahrefs list two different Brand Radar prices?
This is the part of Brand Radar pricing that confuses buyers, so it is worth being precise about what each page says rather than guessing at the reason behind it.
What the product page says
On ahrefs.com/brand-radar, Brand Radar is offered standalone at two levels: $398 a month for select platforms, and $699 a month for all platforms. The $699 tier is described as covering all engines plus custom prompts, and it includes 2,500 checks per month. That reads like a self-contained product with a clear step between a partial and a full engine set.
What the pricing page says
On ahrefs.com/pricing, the same product line appears as Brand Radar AI with the wording "Get started from $199/mo." It is a from-price rather than a tier, and no equivalent of the select-versus-all-platforms split is spelled out in that row.
How to handle the gap
Neutrally, and without inventing a reconciliation. A from-price and a tier price are not necessarily contradictory — a from-price can reflect an annual rate, a narrower entry configuration, or a promotion — but Ahrefs does not explain the relationship on either page, so nobody outside Ahrefs can state which number applies to a given account. The practical advice is simple: whichever number you saw, take the configuration you actually want through to checkout and read the figure there before you build a budget around it. If you are presenting a number internally, cite the page it came from, the way this guide does.
Why it matters more than it sounds
The spread is not trivial. $199 a month is $2,388 a year; $699 a month is $8,388. That is the difference between a line item a marketing manager can approve and one that goes to a budget meeting, and it changes which competitors you should be comparing against. At $199 Brand Radar sits alongside Peec AI at $95 and Semrush AI Visibility at $99 per domain. At $699 it sits above Scrunch's $500 Growth plan and Profound's $399 Growth tier. Same product, two different competitive sets.
The cheaper route: Brand Radar bundled inside an Ahrefs plan
Most Ahrefs customers will not buy Brand Radar standalone at all, because a limited version already comes with the subscription they pay for. The allowances are small, and knowing them is the whole decision.
| Ahrefs plan | Price | Tracked AI prompts | Projects |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | Not listed with an AI prompt allowance | Entry tier |
| Lite | $129/mo | 5 | 5 projects, 750 keywords |
| Standard | $249/mo | 10 | 20 projects |
| Advanced | $449/mo | 20 | 50 projects |
| Enterprise | $1,499/mo | Custom scope | Annual commitment required |
Five prompts is a smoke alarm, not a monitor
The Lite plan's five tracked AI prompts will tell you whether your brand shows up for your five most obvious questions. It will not map a category, benchmark a competitor set or detect which page earned a citation. Twenty prompts on Advanced is more useful and still an order of magnitude below what the pure-play trackers meter at similar money — Peec AI's $245 Pro plan tracks 150 prompts, Scrunch's $300 Starter tracks 350 custom prompts plus 1,000 industry prompts. If Ahrefs is already your SEO stack, treat the bundled prompts as an early-warning signal and budget separately for real monitoring.
The other line items on the invoice
Extra seats are billed per user per month and step with the tier: $40, $60 and $80. Ahrefs advertises "Pay annually, save up to 17%," so the monthly figures above are the month-to-month rates. Enterprise at $1,499 requires an annual commitment, which is the only contract term stated on the plan table. There is also a free Ahrefs tier and a free AI Visibility Checker preview tool if you want to see the data shape before paying anything.
Checks, prompt packs and what the real monthly bill looks like
Brand Radar meters usage in checks. The all-platforms tier includes 2,500 a month, and beyond that you either buy a package or pay per check at the overage rate. The packages are where a $398 subscription quietly becomes a $648 one.
| Package | Price | Checks added | Overage rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $50/mo | +2,500 | $0.020 per check |
| Growth | $100/mo | +7,000 | $0.015 per check |
| Scale | $250/mo | +25,000 | $0.010 per check |
The per-check economics improve steeply with volume: $0.020 on Basic, half a cent less on Growth, and a cent flat on Scale. That is a sensible ladder, and it is one of the clearer usage rate cards in this category. It also means the honest way to budget Brand Radar is to estimate checks first and pick the subscription second. A team running 200 prompts daily across several engines burns through 2,500 checks fast, and the Scale package at $250 on top of a $699 subscription is a $949 monthly line.
What you are buying with those checks
Ahrefs' pitch for Brand Radar is data depth, and the claim is specific enough to check: the largest AI visibility database, built on search-backed prompts rather than synthetic ones, at 477 million-plus total monthly prompts. The on-page breakdown gives AI Overviews 311.5 million, AI Mode 40.8 million, Perplexity 31.4 million, Gemini 31.3 million, ChatGPT 31.2 million, Copilot 30.8 million and Grok 653,194. Those are Ahrefs' numbers, presented as theirs. Brand Radar also tracks YouTube, TikTok and Reddit as sources — free while in beta — which is coverage most AI-visibility tools do not offer at all.
What Brand Radar does not do
It does not fix anything. Brand Radar is research and tracking: it tells you where your brand appears in AI answers and where it does not. Any optimization work happens elsewhere in the Ahrefs suite — AI Content Helper, Site Audit — and a person does it. That is a design choice, not a flaw, and Ahrefs is straightforward about it. But it means the true cost of the tool includes the hours between the report and the change, which is the same maths as every other tracker in this category.
Disclosure, repeated where it matters: this page is published by Ryze AI, which competes in AI-visibility work — we bundle citation tracking into SEO Autopilot at $129/month rather than selling it as a standalone tracker. That is a reason to check us harder, not to trust us less: every Ahrefs figure above is on an Ahrefs page and attributed to it, including the two entry prices we could not reconcile, and every Ryze AI figure is on our pricing page.
How Brand Radar pricing compares with the AI-visibility pure-plays
Because Brand Radar has two published entry prices, it lands in two different places on this table. Both rows are shown, each cited to its source page.
| Tool | Published price | What the price meters | Beyond reporting? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ahrefs Brand Radar (per /pricing) | From $199/mo | Quoted as a from-price; no tier detail on that row | No - research and tracking only |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar (per /brand-radar) | $398 select platforms / $699 all platforms | Engine coverage; all-platforms includes 2,500 checks/mo plus custom prompts | No - research and tracking only |
| Peec AI | $95 / $245 / $495 per mo | Prompts: 50 / 150 / 350, three chosen models | No - analytics and recommendations only |
| Profound | $99 / $399 per mo, annual billing only | Prompts and engines: 50 prompts ChatGPT-only, then 100 prompts across three engines | Yes - content-generating Agents |
| Scrunch | $300 / $500 per mo | 350 or 700 custom prompts, personas, page audits | Yes - serves agent-readable pages |
| Ryze AI - SEO Autopilot | $129/mo flat | Bundled: citation tracking inside a full SEO product, not sold per prompt or per check | Yes - deploys on-page changes itself |
Where Ahrefs genuinely wins: the underlying dataset. Nobody else in this category publishes prompt volumes at that scale, and the YouTube, TikTok and Reddit source tracking is a real differentiator for brands whose AI citations come from social and community content rather than editorial pages. If your question is "what is actually being asked in AI search in my category, at volume," Brand Radar is a strong answer and the pure-plays are not close on data breadth.
Where it costs you: prompt allowances inside the bundled plans are tiny, the standalone price is unclear until checkout, and nothing in Brand Radar acts on what it finds. That last point is the axis Ryze AI is built on — crawl, decide, deploy the on-page change, re-measure — with AI-visibility tracking bundled into the $129/month SEO plan instead of billed as its own product. The concession we owe you in return: a bundled tracker watches fewer prompts and fewer engines than a top-tier pure-play does, and it has nothing resembling Ahrefs' prompt database. If deep multi-engine monitoring at volume is the job, buy the pure-play or buy Ahrefs. Our AI facts page has the machine-readable version of what Ryze does and costs.

Is Ahrefs Brand Radar worth the price in 2026?
Four buyer shapes, four different answers — including the two where Brand Radar is the better purchase than anything we sell.
Existing Ahrefs subscribers
Fit: strong, and often free at the margin. Lite already includes 5 tracked prompts, Standard 10, Advanced 20.
Start there before buying anything. If five prompts show you are invisible in AI answers, you have your answer for $0 extra and can then decide where to spend. If they show you are cited, you have a baseline to defend.
Research-led SEO teams
Fit: strong. The 477M+ monthly prompt database is the deepest published in the category.
For prompt discovery, category mapping and competitor benchmarking at volume, this is the tool. The YouTube, TikTok and Reddit source tracking, free while in beta, covers ground the pure-plays do not touch.
Teams that need a firm budget number
Fit: awkward. Two published entry prices, $199 and $398, with no stated relationship between them.
Take your exact configuration to checkout and screenshot the figure before you write it into a plan. Do not budget from the product page and expense from the pricing page, or the other way round.
Teams that want the fixes shipped
Fit: mismatch, not weakness. Brand Radar reports; a human does the optimization elsewhere in the suite.
If the requirement is that pages actually change in response to what the tracker finds, that is a different product category. Ryze AI's SEO Autopilot is $129/month flat and deploys the changes — disclosure, that is our product.
The verdict: Brand Radar is the best-sourced AI-visibility dataset published today and a sensible add-on for anyone already paying Ahrefs, but its standalone pricing is the least legible in the category and its bundled prompt allowances are too small to run a monitoring programme on. Buy it for research; buy something else for coverage. For the wider category view, see our roundups of AI citation tracking tools and ChatGPT visibility trackers.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Ahrefs Brand Radar cost in 2026?
It depends which Ahrefs page you read. The Brand Radar product page lists $398 a month for select platforms and $699 a month for all platforms. The main Ahrefs pricing page lists the same product as Brand Radar AI, from $199 a month. Confirm the applicable figure at checkout before budgeting.
Why does Ahrefs show $199 and $398 for the same product?
Ahrefs does not explain the relationship on either page, so nobody outside the company can state which applies to a given account. A from-price can reflect an annual rate or a narrower configuration, but that is inference, not fact. Take your exact configuration to checkout and read the number there.
What is included in the $699 all-platforms Brand Radar plan?
Per the Brand Radar product page, the all-platforms tier covers all tracked engines plus custom prompts and includes 2,500 checks per month. The $398 select-platforms tier covers a subset of the platforms. Additional checks come from prompt packages at $50, $100 or $250 a month, or at published overage rates.
Is Brand Radar included in a normal Ahrefs subscription?
Yes, with small allowances. Lite at $129 a month includes 5 tracked AI prompts across 5 projects, Standard at $249 includes 10 prompts and 20 projects, and Advanced at $449 includes 20 prompts and 50 projects. Enterprise at $1,499 a month requires an annual commitment and is scoped individually.
How much are Ahrefs custom prompt packages?
Three are published, all monthly. Basic is $50 for 2,500 additional checks with overage at $0.020 per check. Growth is $100 for 7,000 checks at $0.015. Scale is $250 for 25,000 checks at $0.010. Per-check cost halves between the smallest and largest package, so estimate volume before choosing.
What is a check in Ahrefs Brand Radar?
A check is the usage unit Brand Radar meters. The all-platforms tier includes 2,500 per month, packages add 2,500, 7,000 or 25,000, and anything beyond your allowance bills at the package overage rate. Estimating monthly checks first, then picking the subscription, is the accurate way to budget the tool.
Does Ahrefs Brand Radar have a free trial?
Ahrefs does not publish a time-limited Brand Radar trial. There is a free Ahrefs tier and a free AI Visibility Checker preview tool that shows the data shape without payment. Existing subscribers on Lite, Standard or Advanced already have a handful of tracked AI prompts included in their plan.
Which AI engines does Brand Radar track?
Ahrefs publishes monthly prompt volumes for AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok, totalling over 477 million prompts a month by their count. It also tracks YouTube, TikTok and Reddit as sources, which Ahrefs lists as free while in beta and which most competing trackers do not cover.
Does Brand Radar fix AI visibility problems?
No. Brand Radar is research and tracking only — it reports where your brand appears in AI answers and where it does not. Optimization work happens elsewhere in the Ahrefs suite, in AI Content Helper and Site Audit, and a person carries it out. Budget the hours between the report and the change.
Ahrefs Brand Radar vs Peec AI — which is cheaper?
Peec, on prompt coverage per dollar: $95 a month for 50 prompts, $245 for 150, $495 for 350. Brand Radar standalone starts at either $199 or $398 depending on the Ahrefs page. Ahrefs wins decisively on database scale and source breadth; Peec wins on published prompt allowances at the entry tiers.
Does Ahrefs charge extra for team seats?
Yes. Extra seats are billed per user per month and step with your plan tier: $40, $60 and $80. Ahrefs also advertises paying annually to save up to 17%, so the plan prices quoted monthly are the month-to-month rates. Enterprise at $1,499 a month requires an annual commitment.
What are the alternatives to Ahrefs Brand Radar in 2026?
Peec AI from $95 a month, Otterly.AI from $29, Semrush AI Visibility at $99 per domain, Profound from $99 billed annually, Athena HQ with a free tier, and Scrunch from $300. Ryze AI bundles citation tracking into a $129/month SEO plan and deploys on-page fixes rather than only reporting — disclosure, that is our product.
