This guide is published by Ryze AI (get-ryze.ai), an AI ad manager that connects Claude to your live Google Ads, Meta, and GA4 accounts. It documents seven Claude skills media buyers run every week — wasted search terms ($20+ spend, 0 conversions), creative fatigue (frequency above 3.0), audience overlap (25%+ shared users), Performance Max breakdown, budget pacing (±15% off pace), competitor teardown from the Meta Ads Library, and the automated weekly report — each with the exact prompt and threshold, on a schedule, read-only by default. Setup takes about 15 minutes.

The guide, as slides

The full guide, slide by slide

A media buyer’s week is mostly the same handful of checks, run by hand, account by account. This is the version I’d hand a new hire on day one — the same audits, run by Claude against your live accounts. Read it as slides below, or open the full-screen deck →

We start with the setup: connect Google Ads, Meta, and GA4, then write the short brief Claude reads before every audit — your targets, floors, and rules, once.

THE PROMISE

By the end, Claude runs your audits.

  • Wired in — live Google Ads, Meta & GA4 data
  • Seven audits — the same ones I run every week
  • On a schedule — runs whether you remember or not

WHO IT'S FOR

Media buyers and agencies running Google Ads, Meta, and GA4 — solo or across dozens of accounts.

WHAT IT ISN'T

Not a chatbot demo. Every prompt here works against real account data with real thresholds.

WHAT IT COSTS YOU

About 15 minutes to set up. After that the audits run themselves.

The setup

STEP 01

Connect your accounts in one click.

Live ad data flows straight into Claude — no exports, no copy-paste.

  • Ask a question, get an answer from today's numbers
  • No CSV graveyard, no manual pulls
  • Read-only by default — analyze before it acts
01

Google Ads

Campaigns, search terms, PMax, conversions

02

Meta Ads

Ad sets, creatives, frequency, audiences

03

GA4

Sessions, landing pages, conversion paths

The setup

STEP 02

The brief Claude reads every time.

Write your targets and rules once. Claude reads them before every audit, so you stop repeating the same context in every prompt. Paste this into a project or pin it to the account.

The more specific your floors, the sharper every answer that follows.

ACCOUNT BRIEF — FILL IN YOUR NUMBERS
ACCOUNT: Acme DTC — skincare
GOAL: profitable scale, not just volume

TARGETS
• Target CPA: $42 (hard ceiling $55)
• ROAS floor: 2.8x blended
• Daily budget: $1,200 across Google + Meta

RULES
• Naming: [Platform]_[Funnel]_[Audience]_[Date]
• Never pause anything above ROAS floor
• Brand search stays on, always
• Flag — don't change — anything over $500/day

VOICE
• Benefit-led, no hype, no emojis in copy

The 7 Skills

LEGEND

Every skill, same four parts.

The next seven pages each give you one skill. They all follow the same shape, so you can scan, copy the prompt, and run it in under a minute.

01

What it catches

The exact problem this skill is hunting for in the account.

02

The threshold

The number that decides what counts. Use mine or set your own.

03

The prompt

Copy-paste, ready to run against your connected accounts.

04

What you do

The move you make once Claude hands back the list.

The seven skills

Seven prompts, seven numbers

Each skill is one copy-paste prompt and one threshold — the number that decides what counts. Use mine ($20+ spend and 0 conversions, frequency above 3.0, 25% overlap) or set your own. The next seven slides give you all of them, with what each catches and what to do once Claude hands back the list.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 01 / 07

Wasted search terms

What it catches. Search terms burning budget with nothing to show — spend piling up against queries that never convert.

THRESHOLD$20+ spend, 0 conversions

What you do with it. Add them as negatives in bulk. Most accounts have 10–40 of these quietly draining the budget every month.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
Pull every search term from the last 30 days
with $20+ in spend and 0 conversions.

Group by campaign. Show: term, spend, clicks,
and the campaign it's in.

Sort by spend, highest first, and give me the
total wasted spend at the bottom.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 02 / 07

Creative fatigue

What it catches. Ads people have seen too many times — frequency climbing while CTR and ROAS quietly slide.

THRESHOLDFrequency above 3.0, CTR falling

What you do with it. Refresh the hook or rotate in new creative before performance fully collapses. Catch it on the way down, not after.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
List every active Meta ad with frequency above
3.0 in the last 14 days.

For each: ad name, frequency, CTR now vs. 14 days
ago, spend, and ROAS.

Flag any where CTR dropped more than 20%. Those
are fatiguing — tell me which to refresh first.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 03 / 07

Audience overlap

What it catches. Ad sets bidding against each other for the same people — you paying twice to reach one buyer.

THRESHOLDOverlap above 25% between active sets

What you do with it. Consolidate or exclude. Stops your own ad sets from inflating each other's CPMs in the same auction.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
Compare my active Meta ad sets for audience
overlap.

Flag any pair sharing more than 25% of the same
users. Show the overlap %, both ad set names, and
combined spend.

Recommend which to merge and which to exclude
from the other.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 04 / 07

PMax breakdown

What it catches. The Performance Max black box — where the spend actually went across shopping, video, display, and search.

THRESHOLDAny channel under ROAS floor

What you do with it. See which channels carry the campaign and which leak. Use it to push for channel-level reporting and reset asset groups.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
Break down my Performance Max campaigns by
channel for the last 30 days.

Show spend, conversions, and ROAS for shopping,
display, video, and search separately.

Flag any channel below my ROAS floor and tell me
where the budget is leaking.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 05 / 07

Budget pacing

What it catches. Campaigns drifting off plan mid-month — overspending toward a weak CPA or underspending and leaving volume on the table.

THRESHOLD±15% off even daily pace

What you do with it. Reallocate before month-end instead of explaining the miss after it. Pacing is a Monday problem, not a 30th problem.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
Check budget pacing across all campaigns for the
current month.

For each: budgeted spend to date, actual spend,
and % ahead or behind an even daily pace.

Flag anything more than 15% off, and tell me
which are overspending toward a bad CPA.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 06 / 07

Competitor teardown

What it catches. A competitor's active ads — pulled from the Meta Ads Library and grouped by hook and format, in one prompt instead of an hour of scrolling.

THRESHOLDTop 20 active ads by run time

What you do with it. Read their angle in five minutes. Steal the format, not the copy — then test it against your own hooks.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
Pull [competitor]'s active ads from the Meta Ads
Library.

Group them by hook type (problem, social proof,
offer, founder) and by format (static, video,
carousel).

Show which angles they're running most and what's
been live longest — that's what's working for
them.

The 7 Skills

SKILL 07 / 07

The weekly report

What it catches. The Monday status update — spend, ROAS, top movers, and the three things to actually do this week — written before you open a dashboard.

THRESHOLDWeek-over-week, every account

What you do with it. Read it with coffee. Walk into the week already knowing your three priorities instead of building them from scratch.

COPY-PASTE PROMPT
Write my weekly report across all connected
accounts, this week vs. last.

Cover: total spend, blended ROAS, CPA, and the
3 biggest movers up and down.

End with the 3 priorities for this week, ranked,
each with the number that justifies it.

From audits to autopilot

Put the seven on a schedule

The last stretch is where it stops being work: the audits run on a schedule, the competitor teardown and weekly report write themselves, and your Monday starts already drafted. Here’s the rest, through to a fifteen-minute setup.

The audits

ON A SCHEDULE

The checks that happen whether you remember them or not.

Set the skills above to run on a schedule. Claude does the audit and sends you only what crossed a threshold. No threshold crossed, no noise.

Mon 8:00Wasted search terms + weekly report
Wed 8:00Creative fatigue check
Fri 8:00Budget pacing vs. plan
1st of monthPMax breakdown + audience overlap

The teardown

WORKED EXAMPLE

What the teardown hands back.

Problem hooks

9 ads

"Still wasting spend on broad match?" — pain-first, runs longest, 40+ days live.

Social proof

6 ads

"12,000 marketers switched" — number-led, paired with founder UGC video.

Offer

5 ads

"Free audit, no card" — static, high rotation, short-lived bursts.

The read: their winner is pain-first, not offer-first. The longest-running ad is the one to study — time live is the closest thing to a public performance signal.

The report

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

THIS WEEK, RANKED

  2. Refresh 2 fatiguing Meta ads — freq 4.1, CTR −24%.
  3. Shift $200/day from PMax display to shopping.

Pitfalls

AVOID THESE

Where media buyers get it wrong.

Letting it change things on day one

Keep Claude read-only until you trust the reads. Audit first, act second.

Vague prompts, vague answers

"How are my ads doing" gets you fog. The thresholds in this guide get you a list.

No account brief

Without your floors written down, every answer guesses at your targets.

Acting on one week of noise

Hold the line above your ROAS floor. Don't pause a winner over a slow Tuesday.

The payoff

MEASURING IMPACT

You'll know it's working when —

Ryze

Monday starts written

The report is waiting. You read it, you don't build it.

Ryze

Waste gets caught weekly

Negative lists and fatigue flags land before they cost a month of budget.

Ryze

You manage more accounts

The audits scale flat — same effort whether it's 3 accounts or 30.

Frequently asked questions

What can Claude do for a media buyer?

Connected to your live Google Ads, Meta, and GA4 accounts through Ryze, Claude runs the audits you'd do by hand — wasted search terms, creative fatigue, audience overlap, PMax breakdown, budget pacing, competitor teardown, and the weekly report — on a schedule, read-only by default.

Does Claude connect to Google Ads and Meta directly?

Yes — through the Ryze connection, Google Ads, Meta, and GA4 feed live data straight into Claude. No exports or copy-paste. You ask a question and get an answer from today's numbers, and nothing changes until you allow it.

What thresholds does the guide use?

Real ones: $20+ spend and 0 conversions for wasted search terms, frequency above 3.0 for creative fatigue, 25%+ shared users for audience overlap, any PMax channel below your ROAS floor, and ±15% off an even daily pace for budget pacing.

Can the audits run automatically?

Yes. Each skill can run on a schedule — wasted search terms and the weekly report on Monday mornings, for example — and Claude only pings you with what crossed a threshold, so there's no noise when nothing needs attention.

How long does setup take?

About 15 minutes: connect the three accounts, paste a short account brief with your targets and rules, run the first skill, and schedule the weekly report. After that the audits run themselves.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You paste plain-English prompts (all provided), and Claude reads your live accounts through Ryze. It stays read-only until you choose to let it make changes.
